Creating multiple cPanel accounts under WHM, and pinning each to its own address

Your plan does not give you one website. It gives you WHM, and WHM is an account factory: you create a separate cPanel account for each site you run, and you decide which of your dedicated addresses that account answers on. This is the piece people miss on day one, so here is the whole procedure.

Two doors into the same thing

You can create accounts from either place, and both end up in the same WHM underneath:

• Your SeoHost dashboard. Open the service, and the Reseller Control Panel section gives you Create Account, List Accounts, Assigned IP's and the rest, without a second login.
• WHM directly. Same tools, full interface, useful once you are doing several things at once.

Neither is more "real" than the other. Use the dashboard when you want one job done, WHM when you are settling in for a session.

Creating one account

1. Open Create a New Account.
2. Enter the domain. The username is offered for you and is fine to accept.
3. Choose a package. If you have not built one yet, do that first; it saves repeating the same limits by hand on every account.
4. Open the Dedicated IP section and pick the address this account should answer on. This is the step that matters most here, and it is the one most often skipped.
5. Create. The account exists in seconds.

If you leave the address unset, the account answers on the server's shared address instead of one of yours. Nothing breaks, but the separation you paid for is not there. You can correct it afterwards from Change Site's IP Address, so an early mistake is not permanent.

How many accounts you can open

Your allowance is not a number we invent for the page. Open the service in your dashboard and read cPanel Accounts (Used / Allowed): that figure is pulled live from WHM, so it is the same number WHM itself enforces. When Used reaches Allowed, creation stops until you remove an account or add capacity.

Creating many without repeating yourself

Opening thirty accounts by hand is thirty chances to set something slightly differently. Two habits remove almost all of that risk:

• Decide the package first. Limits, PHP version and features live in the package, not in the account. Change the package later and every account built on it follows.
• Work in batches you can still check. Create a handful, open List Accounts, confirm each one shows the address you intended, then continue.

WHM also offers bulk tools for changes across accounts at once. They are genuinely useful and genuinely unforgiving, so they deserve their own read before you point one at forty sites.

What to check before you call it done

1. List Accounts shows every account on the address you meant, not the shared one.
2. The domain's DNS points at that same address.
3. The site loads over HTTPS with its own certificate.

One honest note on why the addresses are separate at all. Distinct addresses are a footprint measure: they keep unrelated properties from sharing an obvious technical fingerprint. They are not a ranking signal, and no search engine rewards you for owning them. Treat them as hygiene, not as leverage.
